The Difference Between Good and Bad
Oh how I have always loved Johnny Depp. I don't think there is a movie he has done that I have not liked. He transforms himself completely every single time....he just amazes me! This interview with Letterman is pretty funny I think. On another note, Jennifer Aniston can just go away now. I'm not sure why she is paid so highly as an actress. She plays every single character in every movie the exact same way. There is no depth there.

Grandma Lucille's 85th Birthday
Asher and Eden
Silly Cullen
Anyway, do ya like Cullen's attire??? I think he looks flippin awesome!
The End of Summer....or Pool Anyway....
A week or so ago we decided it was time for the pool to come down. Initially I told Tristan to get in and start helping me get that last bit of water out....which quickly turned into a big water fight! I finally just went inside to make supper and let them have one last hurrah in the water! Sometimes I feel like I get too caught up in daily life and forget to let them be kids. So I let them get crazy. (Even though it was almost supper time.) We had five little drenched and smelly rats at the dinner table that night but everyone was smiling....which is AWESOME!

Trapp Labor Day Picnic
This was so neat to see....Mike had all the boys sat down and learning to draw with him! he was teaching them different things to do and what not. The boys really loved it and spent a good amount of time doing it!
So on Labor Day we all went to Quincy to South Park to have a family picnic. Wouldn't you know that we (me and Jeremy) were the first ones there for a noon picnic!?!?! We all had a really good time. Good food, cornhole, volleyball, lounging, etc. Grandma Trapp and the younger grandkids that were there played hide and seek. And there were thousands of bees!! Everywhere! It was really crazy because if you poured a drink you would immediately have a swarm around you. And I'm not exaggerating when I say there were thousands.....wonder if I got a picture of that? I think I meant to but forgot.
Our Life
So having six kids is a lot of work!! Who knew?!?! haha! But, Eden is a great baby and makes things easier on me. Yesterday she went to her first checkup. She saw Dr. Sharp which is the same doc that saw her in the hospital. I like him so far and may switch to him for all family care. We are in Quincy way more anyhow. So, Eden's stats yesterday were:
8 pounds 9 ounces
20.75 inches
She's my lil miss these days. I like to call her Lil' Miss or Eden McFroo.
She's just so flippin cute! She has thrush. Which all of my babies get at least once. Fun stuff. I should be a baby doctor. I don't need them to tell me this stuff. I knew before I went that she had thrush and that he would give me nystatin to fix it.
I took Cullen with me and he just wasn't sure about anything. he made me carry him and the baby seat everywhere we went. Which made things awesome.
While I was in Quincy with those two boys, Jeremy was in Macomb with Liam taking him to the optometrist. Two days prior Liam had come downstairs crying and holding his eye. He WOULD NOT let us look at the eye for anything. So for a day and a half he layed around holding his eye and I thought he was faking. Finally we talked him into letting us look at it and there was a scratch on his eye. The eye doc said that Liam has a very high pain tolerance because most grown men rate that pain at an 8 out of 10!! He never even said that it hurt anymore....he just wouldn't let us look at it. He wasn't crying or anything either....after the initial injury that is. I felt so bad. Now he has to stay in a dark room and put antibiotic drops in his eye and wear sunglasses. Poor kid.
On other topics the Kelley fam is going Organic/Vegetarian. Yes, we are making a life change. I would strongly suggest to all of you that you watch the documentary Food INC.
Seriously made me never want to eat again. The things that we don't know that go on with our food is just revolting. So we have been buying organic everything. The meat is where the good majority of our problems lie.....have to find some meat that isn't corn fed and killed humanly and sanitarily.......k, for real, watch this movie. You can download it for free on netflix.

Labor Day Weekend

This is one of the dresses that Grandma Trapp got her at the shower and one of the headband flower thingies that Trisha got her. The car seat came from Grandma Kelley and you can kinda see in the top of the pic the super cute and very handy car seat cover that Ariane got me. I am loving using all this cute new stuff!!!
Grape Festival Weekend was fun I guess. Friday night my face was still a little swollen and I didn't feel up to doing anything. Jeremy and I went to Colchester with the baby on Saturday but we ended up not staying very long because I started feeling ill again. Sunday we headed to Nauvoo for the Feature Parade and took the kids to the carnival for awhile.
On Monday we went to Quincy to hang with the Trapp fam but, I will do a separate post about that....I've got a lot of pics.
Let me just say that having a baby in your 20's
and having a baby in your 30's is completely different. I feel like I just can't bounce back as fast as I used to. Everything is taking longer and hurts more. UGH!
