Throwback

 Way back in the yester-year of 2000 we lived in Salt Lake City (which I miss terribly) and we had our first baby, Tristan.  We lived far from both sets of Grandparents so I set up a Yahoo Club called Tristan's House of Bubbles.  I could add pictures but needed a digital camera for it.  (Remember this is when the first digital cameras were becoming available).  Well, my brother, Mike, had a digital camera.  So Jeremy and I would drive from Holladay over to West Valley City (both suburbs of SLC) to have Mike snap some random shots for us to put on the website.  These are some of those things.  I wish that Yahoo clubs still existed....I think blogging took its place.  Anyway, I was smitten with my little Tristan.  We literally NEVER left him with anyone or anywhere until he was nine months old.  And then it was just for a couple of hours as we left him with Mike and Maxine....once.

I also remember when we moved back to this area and Tristan had just turned one year old.  We left him with Jeremy's parents for the evening while we went to Macomb.  I sobbed the whole way from Nauvoo to Macomb!!! Bahahahaha~! But, I just was a very protective first time Mama.
