The Walking Dead

I can't remember if I blogged about this or not.  For Christmas one of my gifts from Jeremy was Book One of the Walking Dead comic series (hardcover) and a cute onesie for the baby that says "Little Ass Kicker".  I LOVE it!! lol!  Now, to put the onesie in context, you would have to watch The Walking Dead which happens to be one of our favorite shows ever.  After Laurie died giving birth to her baby, Daryl Dixon snuggled the little newborn and called her "little ass kicker".  It was awesome, just believe me! lol!

****Just went and looked back in January....yes, I already blogged this pic. smh.

Disappeared

This is the show on the ID(Investigation Discovery) channel that I am kinda hooked on.  They also air old episodes on Discovery channel in the mornings sometimes.  It is fascinating.  It always sounds crazy to me to say that one of my siblings is missing.  Like how do you just go missing?!!?  But, it happens all the freaking time.  I would love for Russ's story to have a happy ending.

Random Things

Last night we all gathered at Debbie and Pat's house for a birthday dinner for Pat and I.  Yesterday was Pat's actual birthday and mine is on Wednesday.  We ate Million Dollar Spaghetti (that was super good!), corn, Caesar salad, garlic bread and blue cheese bread.  All of it was extra tasty and very filling!  For dessert we had homemade vanilla bean ice cream and peach cobbler!  YUMMY!  It was a good time hanging out with family!

I think I am going to print up a cookbook.  I REALLY want to do it again.  It would be nice to take my personal recipe book and print it all up so it is organized and legible, lol!  I can't decide when to start though.

This morning we had to "spring forward" our clocks.  I hate this time change but, if it means that Spring is coming then I am all for it!  This winter has been a doozy and I am ready to be done, done, done.   I feel very weird today though and probably will for a few days until I adjust again.

Jeremy and I have been catching up on Dr. Who episodes lately and I can't stop dreaming about The Doctor.   Good grief.  That and zombies.  Tonight is another new episode of The Walking Dead and we are stoked as usual!  lol!

We tend to buy very big packages of toilet paper (and everything else).  Eden's life is not complete until she drags each package of toilet paper out and sits/stand/jumps on it until all the rolls are nice and flat.  Then when we put it on the toilet paper roll it thumps around the thing the whole time.  Nice.

What else? The big boys (namely, Tristan, Liam, and Asher) are very into collecting Pokemon cards right now.  It makes for a nice incentive for chore money.  I usually hop on Amazon and let them pick out a few with their allowance money.

Sookie

This is Anna Paquin.  She plays Sookie on True Blood.  I think she is amazing......and this makes me love her just a little bit more!!  We are kindred spirits, I just know it.  I have this same problem.  I never knew there was a name for it. ;)

Jayne Hat

I don't know if I mentioned it or not at Christmas time but, Jeremy totally got me a Jayne hat from Firefly.  It is the most comfy, awesome hat ever.  Will post a pic later.  I love my hat, Jeremy.

True Blood Babies

Go ahead, call me insane.  I know.  But, Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Bill (Stephen Moyer) have had their twins!!  I don't know yet if they are boys or girls or one of each or what the names are.  I know I am slightly obsessed.  Stay Calm and Watch True Blood.

The press release from People.com
The True Blood twins have arrived.
“We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed their twins into the world,” reps for the actors tell PEOPLE exclusively.
“The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed.”
These are the first children together for Paquin, 30, and Moyer, 42, who were married in August 2010.
Moyer has two children — daughter Lilac, 10, and son Billy, 12 — from previous relationships.
The costars just wrapped their fifth season, with the finale of the hit HBO show airing Aug. 26.

It's a Sad Day Indeed

Tonight is the season finale of True Blood.  This is awful....I so look forward to hanging out with my hubby watching True Blood after we get the kids in bed.  I guess we will have to suffer through our Sunday nights until mid-October when the Walking Dead starts again.

Yo Gabba Gabba

Eden's favorite show is Yo Gabba Gabba.  If you have never had the pleasure of seeing this show, let me tell you, you are missing out.  At it's helm is DJ Lance Rock and it takes place in Gabba Land.  There is Tutti, Foofa, Plex, Broby, and Moono.  They sing and dance and learn great life lessons such as: Don't Bite Your Friends, You Can't Always Get What You Want, and There is A Party In My Tummy!  It's actually the best show ever!  Whenever it comes on she is fascinated!  She also dances, which I LOVE!!!!

New Pads....AND Firefly

We got two new pads for the boys/us for Christmas.  They are like I-pads only not, they are some other brand.  I think those could replace every device that I have!  I love em!! And so do the kids.  They can watch movies, surf the net, school work, play games....just about anything!!  Tristan is going to use his with his schooling.  He is also planning on making an origami blog and he is really anxious to get it started.  He has big ideas and I am going to let him run with them!

On a completely different subject....why the heck did Fox EVER cancel Firefly.  Jeremy and I have been watching it on netflix and we saw the movie and all......but SERIOUSLY WHAT THE FREAK WERE THEY THINKING?!!?!?!?!?  And why didn't some other network pick it up after it was canceled??? One season is not enough!  And why can't they see the error of their ways after ten flipping years and rehire the same actors and do it again!?!?!?  Sorry, I just had to get that out.  We watched three episodes last night and it is fresh on my brain!
