Advent-Popcorn Tin

Every year we get a popcorn tin.  I am annoyed with myself that I didn't get a picture of it because it was a really cute old style Mickey Mouse one.  We tossed it when we were done though because I am sick of clutter.  The kids of come to expect one each year, which is fine with me!

Advent- Ice Cream Sundaes

 They were UBER excited when they found this is the advent calendar!  We had all kinds of toppings and they went all out!  Chocolate syrup, hot fudge, caramel, sprinkles, whipped cream, cherries (those were the hit of the night!), and more!  

Advent- Christmas movie

No other pics but, we watched The Santa Clause and had popcorn and root beer floats!  My kids get totally stoked about root beer floats so this one was really liked!!

Advent- Letters To Santa

 This night we wrote letters to Santa to ensure that he knew what each kid would really like for Christmas this year.  Not everyone would pose for a picture.  Oh well.  We had fun writing the letters and decorating with stickers! 

Advent-Frozen

Every day after school the kids rush to see what is in the advent calendar for the day.  One day we decided to surprise them by taking them all (minus Eden) to the Keokuk movie theater to see the new Disney movie, Frozen!! They were so excited!  Eden went to Grandma's house.  We all piled in the car and away we went!  Everyone got a drink, popcorn, and candy.  We let the big boys sit by themselves a few rows behind us and Jeremy, myself, Asher and Cullen all sat together.  It was such a good movie!! Best Disney movie we have seen in awhile!  All the kids loved it and Jeremy said we should go see it again by ourselves, haha!! It is super funny too!  

After the movie we drove through the City of Lights and listened to Christmas music.  

It was a really nice family evening together just like the holidays should be.  

Perfect. 

 

School Valentine's Parties

 I finally dumped my old point and shoot camera and found a ton of stuff that I forgot about!  These pics are from Valentine's Day of this year.  I went to the school to celebrate with Liam and Asher in their classrooms.   No one talked to me at all but, I was there for my kids, not them.  They both LOVED the fact that I came to the parties.  I love the fact that I can do things like this with them!!  

Liam was in second grade and Asher in first.  I went to Liam's classroom first and stayed there about 30 minutes because I didn't want to miss Asher's party.  Liam is Mr. Sillypants at school I guess because one of the activities was to list things you like about everyone in the class.  Liam got lots of "class clowns"!! LOL!  

 Then they played valentine bingo with conversation hearts.  The prize was a blow pop!

They played until everyone got one! :)

 They had snacks and exchanged valentines too.

Liam has to be doing something silly in every picture that he knows I am taking.  

I love that he has a sense of humor about himself.

 Asher's class exchanged valentines first.  Everyone loves Asher!  I was so surprised how everyone went out of their way to give him things or seek his approval of things.  It gives me the "mommy warm fuzzies"!  

 They made bookmarks with their fingerprints.  They were really cute!  I had to leave after that but they had snacks and drinks and played a couple of games.  

Father's Day Survery

 I had the boys fill out these Father's Day surveys about their Dad for Father's Day this year.  The four oldest did it.  I am still trying to coax Cullen to answer the questions! lol!  I liked these and more importantly, so did Jeremy!

I am truly blessed beyond measure by my husband.  He is the one decision in my life that I didn't mess up! lol!  He makes every single day worth living for me.  I don't think people realize just how much he sacrifices and how hard he works for our family.  He is dedicated, hard working, loyal, thoughtful, trustworthy, and all around wonderful!!  I love my husband!!  I am the most spoiled, luckiest girl, on the whole planet! 

Jayne Hat

I don't know if I mentioned it or not at Christmas time but, Jeremy totally got me a Jayne hat from Firefly.  It is the most comfy, awesome hat ever.  Will post a pic later.  I love my hat, Jeremy. 

Cedric's Mother's Day Gift 2012

 Cedric also made me a gift at school.  He made me this folder that had a pocket on the inside that had three coupons in it....you will see them below.

Then this cute page about what he would get me if he could get my anything!!  He is very thoughtful!  And yes, I would love a new car! lol!  What a great kid!! Love him to the moon and back!!
