Tomorrow Can't Come Soon Enough

I am having surgery on my mouth tomorrow.  Not that any one cares.  I think I will spend the extra $400 and just have them knock me out.  I am sick and tired of the pain day in and day out.  I hope tomorrow goes better than I am anticipating.  Thank God I have the man of my dreams.  He pretty much stalked the dentist again today getting me more medicine, lol! Picked it up for me and everything.  And he is clearing his schedule to drive me to the appointment tomorrow....babies and all!  I know I wouldn't have made it through the night without more medicine.  And he is ordering Casey's pizza so I don't have to cook!!!
My kids don't get that I am sick.  I have told them a million times but they don't care.  Then when they see me crying or wincing in pain, they ask what is wrong.  Seriously!?!?  I've only been talking about it for a week now!!! Sheesh!  And what I really love about all this is that I get to pay WAY more money than any human should to fix a dang tooth.I wish I could get an epidural for my tooth!  What a great idea.  I would take that in a heartbeat.

Tristan's MRI

On December 1st Tristan and I woke up before most normal people.  We trudged out to the car and resolved ourselves to stay awake for the forever drive to Springfield for his MRI.  One of us made it.  It was me, haha!  He was snoozing pretty much the whole way there and the whole way back!! I watched the sunrise and decided to take some crappy pictures of it too.  Doesn't do it justice but you get the idea.
We got to his appointment and had a wonderful time.  For reals.  He was checked right in and whisked down to the bowels of the hospital....er, or at least it felt that way.  He got a little nervous when we got down there but, was a tough kid.  The nurse was an awesome guy that put Tristan more at ease.  There were rewards too!  If he did just okay he would receive a small lego set....if he did better than okay, he would get a lego board game.....and if he did excellent he would receive a new video game!!  He was pretty stoked and became determined to do his best! :)
They were going to let me go in with him and started to give me scrubs but then asked about metal in my body and I said I had paragard and we had an awkward moment of whether or not the giant magnet would suck it from my body!! BAhahahaha!! It was decided that I should wait in the waiting room instead.  The nurse did a little research while Tristan was in the MRI and found out that my paragard is indeed safe in my body....lol....good to know if there is a next time!
Anyway, Tristan did excellent and got the new Transformers- Revenge of the Fallen video game!  Awesome.  When we were all done at the hospital we both were hungry because we hadn't eaten anything yet...but, it was only 10:00 or so so we went to the mall for a quick stop.  We only went to two stores but it was a good thing because both of those stores had things I had been looking for everywhere!! woot!  We got a bit of lunch at the food court and headed back home.  Now, we need to get a hold of the pediatric neurologist to see how the MRI went.  It looks like I may have missed a call from them on my phone but not sure.  Anyway, it was fun hanging out one and one.  We don't get to do that often enough.

More Good Information

Here is Some Good Info

Recently we have started drinking a little concoction we call "the good stuff"  because the blog we heard about it on called it the good stuff and the name stuck, lol.  Anyway, it is
1 T. honey
2 T. water
1 T. apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

Observations

I've notice from reading facebook just how often people are sick or their children are sick with the cold/flu/virus/infection/etc.  And that is just the times that they care to share about it on facebook....that isn't counting the times they don't share it on facebook.  What's interesting is that these are the people that are full vaccinated as well as their children.  It begs one to ask the question: what exactly are these vaccinations doing for these people?  I remember back when Tristan and Cedric were little and I was brainwashed into believing the vaccination mumbo-jumbo.  I literally bought 2-3 different cold medicines or antibiotics every single time I went to the store!  All of us were sick all the time.  I remember telling Jeremy at the time that we were the sickliest people ever.  I wondered if we had mold in the walls or what the heck was going on that we were sick all.the.time.  Is it that hard to believe that Big Money Pharmeceutical companies would scare us into buying a "vaccine"  that will prevent us from whatever nonsense it says it will prevent, then it will actually cause it, which in turn causes us to go buy the "cure" (medicine) from the Big Money Pharmecuetical companies?!?!?!?  Since we have stopped vaccinating and flu shotting it up, we have noticed a remarkable difference in the amount of sickness in our home and family.  Think about it, we are not often sick.  If we are it is usually a stomach problem from something we ate or something like that.  The few times I have went to the medicine cabinet in the last years since ceasing to vaccinate, I have always found my medicine expired.  We used to run out on a regular basis and it would never have time to expire.
At the height of my vaccination obsession (which was right after Liam was born), everyone was on time with shots.  We were at Dr. Smith's office more than I care to remember.  And it was always awful dragging sick. screaming kids to the doctor office.  That was also the time after I had Liam when the hospital said that they had to update my vaccinations after I had Liam for one or two things.  They scared me into thinking it HAD to be done or me or the baby could get sick and DIE of all things!  So I did it...and guess what happened?!?!  I got pneumonia and wound up the hospital in Carthage for four days then transferred by ambulance to Peoria for another four days!!  It was awful.  I seriously thought I was going to die.  And I couldn't be with or feed my 8 week old baby back at home. :(  I didn't immediately stop vaccinations after Liam....they were slowly weaned out over the next few years.  Anyway, I like the our health results SO much better without vaccinations that I will never go back.  Ugh.

My Thoughts

Be aware male readers.....following post is related to female junk.....read at your own risk!

I can't take this dang Paragard anymore.  Paragard is the copper IUD that I have implanted inside me as a form of birth control.  It is hormone free and said to be 98% effective although I think that number is a little skewed.  So far (I have had it in two years this week) the birth control effectiveness is great....as in, I am not, nor have I been pregnant since getting it put in. LOL!  The rest of it is for the birds!  One of the side effects of Paragard is a longer and heavier period.  It's REALLY bad.  And they are more frequent now, like every 2 and a half or 3 weeks.  Also, I have noticed that I get intense pain when ovulating now too.  I used to never even know anything was going on ever. Basically, I have barely one week (usually more like five days) that I am normal, not in pain, not completely insane, etc.  It sucks bad! I cannot take this anymore.  We have to figure out another solution.  So that is my mission today....find another option.  Or have more babies.  Which doesn't mesh with the new goals and direction that Jeremy and I have spent the last few weeks plotting and planning out.  Ugh, why did I have to be a girl!?!?!? :)  For reals, I'm glad I am a girl (I would make a terrible boy, eww) but, we sure do get our fair share of crappy stuff.

We took Asher to the doctor on Friday.  Actually, Jeremy took him and Tristan (another headache appointment).  Asher has been struggling with focus, hyperactivity, impulsivity, etc. for a while now.  The school has been on us for a couple of years saying he had ADHD but, we both felt like labeling a four year old and shoving medicine down his throat isn't a good idea.  We still feel that way.  But, Asher is 6 now and needs to be able to focus and be able to absorb what is being taught to him.  I guess while at the appointment, Asher was in full effect!  Meaning that he wouldn't sit down, ran in circles around the doctor, shouted from one of the building to the other, etc.  As I type this, I think it sounds like any kid his age.  But, when you are there with him, you can see the difference.  Anyway, Dr. Smith prescribed him the lowest dose of Adderoll to start with.  That stuff scares me to my core.  It is an amphetamine.  Basically it is speed or meth.  It is very habit forming and a high abuse rate.  Not that I think Asher is going to abuse it but still.   It goes against everything I believe in.  But, I had a friend tell me once that sometimes the kids want to have medicine so that they can focus and be able to behave like they need to.  That may be true.  I don't know.  I love that boy so much, it breaks my heart to put him on medicine.  I don't want him to be a different person, I love HIM.  This morning we crushed up a pill and gave it to him with chocolate milk.  He asked what it was for and I told him that it will help him be calm and able to focus better at school.  He took it without complaint and that makes me sad too.  I don't want him to think he needs to take a pill to be "normal".  UGH, this is so hard.  We have been praying about what to do and we both feel that we at least need to take a shot with the meds.  We will see how it goes.

Cedric is wanting to quit band after we spent $150 to sign him up and agreed to purchase a $1500 saxophone!  So annoying.  I love that Cedric want to try lots of things and has many varying interests but he starts and quits everything.  He did it with karate, wrestling, baseball, band, basketball (went to one practice and told the coach he needed to quit because he has asthma!), and now he wants us to sign him up for Lego Robotics Club at the school.  Oh well, at least he is trying things and having fun.  I think Lego Robotics might be something he would actually stick to though.  I may even volunteer to help with it after school.

I wish people weren't so darn stupid and rude and annoying.  I won't go into this one too much because I'm sure some of the people that annoy me are probably going to read this but, what can I say, it's on my mind, and it's my blog.  So there.  Anyway, I just don't know why I keep trying with some people.  I really don't.  But, I guess I will anyway.  Keep trying I mean.  It can only make me a better person.  *sigh*  But, it is hard work.  Why do some people make it so hard to like them???

Cullen is doing SUPER DUPER with the potty training thing for #1.  We have to figure something out for getting him to go #2 in the toilet though.  I have been trying to give him time and let him warm up to the idea just like I did with the potty training.
side note: Do we call #2 training poopey training?
And he will wear pants over his underwear now instead of just running around in his undies!

Also, more Kelley Family new.  Jeremy's brother, Tyson and his wife, Vanessa are having another baby!!  This will be their third!  Due sometime in July-ish.  Exciting news!

The Holiday season is coming up.  I hope I am ready for it.  We already had the Kelley family christmas meeting setting up dates, plans, and gift ideas.  And the Trapp Thanksgiving better not be ruined this year!!! I cannot take it, I really can't.  No one else can seem to do Thanksgiving right.  I have many ideas and plans this year.  I think I need to print out my holiday control journal just like last year.  That was  a good thing.  I think I will do it now.

More Vaccine Info

This girl has a great blog post on WHY she chose not to immunize most of her kids after doing research.  These are just a few of the many reasons I have made the same decision.

This site gave met the links I needed to the forms for school to refuse the vaccines.  And has a memorial page for those that have been affected or died from vaccines.

Tuesday

It is official.  I am running with Tammy in the mornings again starting on Monday.  At 5:30am.  Gotta get back into the swing of things again.  It will be good for me.  I am turning into a depressed slugfest over here.  Today sucked pretty bad.  I  realized after lunch that I had my stinking pants on backwards.  Who does that?  Me.  I did get on Ebay and ship some packages.  And won some auctions! woot!  I love bidding on things on Ebay.  It is such a thrill for me (I'm easily amused).  I thawed out some frozen zuppa tuscana soup I had made last week.  That is another good freezer meal.  Zuppa Tuscana is my favorite soup from Olive Garden.  Mmmmmm, good.  Tonight Cedric and I played Parcheesi and he won!!  Oh yeah, and we watched Tangle three times too.  Yep.

Are we Insane?

Jeremy and I have decided to do the impossible and do the 60 Day Insanity challenge!  It's gonna suck so bad!!  But, hopefully worth it in the end!  We are just waiting on the test results from Jeremy's heart monitor to come back and we will start.  I think we are gonna have to do it at night after we get the kids to bed....which is kinda laughable because the never stay in bed.  Oh well, we are gonna try anyway.
