Gettin' Crap Done

We got a lot done this weekend.  It feels good to be getting things out of the way.  Jeremy and I got to go have a nice supper with Tyson and Vanessa this past Saturday evening.  We met them at Quincy and went to the Abbey.  I've heard about it forever and never been there.  It was really good except for the 40 minutes wait time and the very long time to get our food.  We had a good time catching up even if we couldn't hardly hear each other talk, haha!  We had planned on getting a bunch of shopping done but our dinner went late so we just hit Walmart and got a set of shelves again and 12 storage totes.  Sunday we set to work building the shelves, cleaning, organizing, and throwing away.  Jeremy got our new deck box built and our big Christmas tree down.....(I know that Christmas is long gone....and in my defense the tree was at least not decorated anymore, haha!)  We are going to rent a storage unit and just start packing up boxes and sticking them in it.  I am trying to get prepared to move.  Even if my realtor won't let me look at any houses.  Sheesh.  I've said it before and I'll say it again......Home ownership is not a dream, it is a flipping nightmare. I don't expect buying my second house will be any more pleasant than buying the first.
Me, Jeremy, Tristan, and Cedric stayed up last night and watched the new episode of The Walking Dead.  That show is amazing on so many levels!  And I'm glad it is something that we can all enjoy together.  Us and the older boys anyway.  Liam and Asher prefer not to watch and that is fine because I prefer it that way.  Otherwise it would be a fight when I told them No.
I'm in the process of designing a blog for my mom.  She seems very excited about it now that she can do it.  She finally has internet at her house!!  What year is it again!?!?  That's how I know that we truly live in the middle of nowhere.  I will have link on my page when the blog is done and readable.
We have a surprise for the kids coming up soon.  I was very excited about it until Jeremy and I went back and re-read a blog about the last time we did something similar with the kids.  It was a nightmare and we swore we would never do it again. Oy vey!
