St. Patty's Day Fail

I am really annoyed with myself right now.  My family never ever celebrated St. Patrick's Day in any way.  I would always forget to wear something green and people would give me crap and try to pinch me, lol!  Anyway, every year I think I am going to do something with the kids to celebrate it since we are Kelley's and everything.  Well, every year I suck at it.  I cannot seem to wrap my head around St. Patrick's day.  I mean, I don't even get what the celebration is about (a guy getting rid of snakes or something!? I mean, come one. Why is this a holiday!??) but, I still want to enjoy it.  I meant to get some shirts for the kids who don't have anything green but, I totally forgot this weekend.  We do have a couple of St. Patrick's Day shirts floating around that Asher and Tristan were able to wear though.  Cedric wore a shamrock tie on top of his shirt, lol!  Cullen has a small dab of lime green on his shirt and so does Liam.  Eden has nothing.  Oh well.  There is always next year.  I will try to get a St. Patty's day supper or dessert or something ready for the kids this evening.  But, who knows if I will get to it.  I woke up at 3am with horrible back and stomach pains.  I thought I might throw up but didn't.   I still feel rather ill....and incredibly tired.  Whatever.  I am going to get something green or Irish done today whether I like it or not.
