Me and Eden

Yesterday was awesome!! Which is great after the Tuesday that I had....whew, I don't even want to talk about it.  So, I had to go to Quincy yesterday to pick up certified copies of Eden and Cullen's birth certificates.  It was just Eden and I.  She fell asleep on the way there.  When we got to the court house, I carried her inside because I was sure that she was going to run away or scream when I tried to hold her hand.  Once I got inside they said, ABSOLUTELY NO CELL PHONES.  Back to the car I go, holding Eden still, to put the cell phone in the car.  She was getting very heavy.  Also, I had other things to carry as well.  Back up to the doors, without a cell phone, go in and start to walk through the metal detector, when the officer tells me I am in the wrong spot.  I need to go down to the end of the block, yada, yada, yada.  I carry her back outside and start down the block and then I asked her if she would walk and hold my hand.  She said "yes." ever so quietly and I set her down..  She grabbed my hand and stayed with me the WHOLE TIME I WAS IN THE COURTHOUSE.  She was very cute and quiet and spoke to all the people she saw.  We had to go up and down many flights of stairs and she would count them to ten everytime then clap when she was at the top/bottom.  The lady in vital statistics gave her a sucker and asked Eden if it was yummy.  Eden licked it, then made her puking noise!!! LOL!  She was just kidding and being cute!!  After we got the birth certificates, I decided to stop at Wal-mart on a whim.  I knew we needed a few things and thought Eden was doing so well.  She was AMAZING.  She sat in the cart so good and laughed and talked the whole time!! We got in and out in about 30 minutes....and she didn't whine or complain once the whole day. I can't wait to do more things with just her and I.  It was perfect.
