My Big Family

One of the things I love most about my family is having meals together at the table.  There is a whole slew of reasons why it is one of the highlights of my day.  #1 being that my family is all gathered in the same spot enjoying(usually) food and each other.  When we have supper together it is loud, crazy, and fun!  And I especially love when I make something that they all love and are excited to eat!  I love hearing comments like "Oh, Thank you, Mom, you're the best!"  We chat about our days and joke around with each other.  It is times like these when I really appreciate our decision to have a big family.  As crazy as it can be, I would not trade it for the world!  Sometimes, I get caught up in the "spilled milk".  I have been trying to take 10 seconds before freaking out when cleaning up the umpteenth mess...and realize that it doesn't matter.  If they don't make messes and mistakes, then how will they learn?
