Can I Just Brag A Bit?????

Okay, really today I feel on the verge of so many great things! Things are all positive and I'm thinking that maybe for once I would actually get to the light at the end of the tunnel instead of just seeing it from a distance. Life is good! K, I just need to brag about a few things real quick!
My husband is the most amazing person I know. I don't know how he does everything he does. All I know is that I can always count on him and he will never let me down. He is my rock and I love him so much. I am one LUCKY girl! And my kids freaking blow me away! Every day is better and better. They all came home with report cards that don't look like they came from normal kids....seriously!! They are so stinkin smart! Tristan has a 116% in one of his classes! (I forgot to take a picture and put it on here like I said I would but about a month or so ago, Tristan came home with a High Honor Roll certificate! Way to go Tristan! I told him I would take a pic and just now realized that I had not done that! Sorry!) So, in short, I have the BEST husband, the BEST kids, the BEST life of anyone on the planet! Bajhahaha! Well, I do.......

Cute Moments In The Morning

I am so happy that Eden has 5 older brothers that dote on her and love her! I think she loves it too! She laughs and giggles whenever they are around. Today I was showing her the family pictures hanging on the wall and she started talking to the big one of the five boys together! She kept reaching out to grab them....it was SO FLIPPIN CUTE! What a perfect little family I have. Love it!
I need to snap some pictures of Cullen and his attire. Every day he adorns his feet with a wide array of footwear! It's so funny! Usually he ends up with his rain boots on, those are his favorite!

Breaking News!

Eden did not sleep well last night. And she's not napping well today. She's getting BOTH front bottom teeth! Poor baby! And she's such a trooper. Hardly any whining.

My Windmill Obsession

I think I've mentioned this before....I REALLY like windmills. I'm going to build a small windmill in my backyard. For reals. A flippin' windmill. Only I'm going to paint mine really cool and hang scarves and beads from it! I can't wait....

Asher and the Chalk

Just a couple of days or so ago I caught Asher in deep concentration and sometimes muttering to himself outside on the porch. These are just a few of the pictures I took but, I stood at the door F-O-R-E-V-E-R taking pictures of him! It was so cute! And he never knew I was there either! He really loves to color and draw. He's really good at it too!

You can't really see what he drew but it was huge and all over the porch! My boys seem to love to draw battles and wars a lot. They get really detailed with it where they draw all the gear on the soldiers and everything! He's so talented! They all are!! Everyday they AMAZE me. Sometimes they amaze me with their creativity, their loving spirits, and their humor.....other times they amaze me with some of the stupid things they do (like when we caught Tristan up in a tree tying a rope to his waist and getting ready to jump! LOL), or their lack of aim at the toilet, or the amount of food they eat! LOL!!! There is DEFINITELY more good than bad though! hehe....I hope they feel the same way about me!

Cullen is Cute

What a lil' nut! Cullen is always doing something cute! And I really need to catch is jabbering on video because it is the cutest thing ever! Cullen is just like Asher in that he does not like to be dressed....pretty much ever. I can't get Asher to wear pajamas without a big fight and Cullen is heading down the same road! haha!

Mermaid Tears....Don't Ask

Many things have been going on in the Kelley household. We are busy, busy, busy! So here is a recap of recent stuff I have had on my mind.......

1. Why the heck doesn't blogger fix their outdated, slow, and stupid picture loader?!?!? They can't seriously think that it is adequate. I've been tempted to switch to another blog site but what all does that entail? I don't think I want to find out. Then again, maybe I do.

2. I need to have a yard sale this Spring. So I'm going to have one......I'm thinking late in April or early in May. Anyone who wants to bring stuff to my house to get rid, please feel free! Carthage is the best town in the area to have a yard sale in because they are like yard sale businessmen here! haha! No joke! My sister, Susan, had a yard sale here once and made $4,000.00!!!! Crazy, huh??? Granted that $1,000.00 of it was for a table and chairs but still!! I'm going to let the boys have a little drink stand like they did last time.....they can earn their own spending money for the fourth of July weekend in Osage.

3. I have been trying to get busy cleaning up the yard for Spring. I've been burning boxes and leaves and dead stuff. I know when I lived at 1650 Young St. I bought a new rake. And somewhere in between here and there it is gone. So yesterday Asher and I were picking up leaves and weeds and sticks by hand and putting them in his red wagon, they pulling it to the fire pit and dumping them in. I have been LOVING this great weather though! SO DO NOT LIKE the cold!! UGH. Hopefully it will stay gone for awhile.

4. I am an ARBONNE consultant now! yay!

5. I figure that I can't make myself feel too badly about the breast feeding thing anymore. Really the more I pray about it, the more peace I feel. I am sure that things happen this way for a reason. And she got three solid months of just breastfeeding, then two months of both breast and bottle feeding. So, at least she got all that. Some moms don't even do that much so I guess that's something. I just feel that at some points I didn't really give it as good of a go as I should have but again, maybe there is a reason I felt the need to get her those bottles. After all she was losing weight....all that really matters is that she is healthy now, right?

6. By the way, I LOVE my family and friends. So much recently has made me realize that I don't need to be as distant as I usually am with people. I have serious trust issues. But, working on it.

7. My mom is in physical therapy now. She has graduated to a cane from her walker! It's good to see. I was really nervous for her when she broke her leg. She still goes really slow and has a limp but she's getting around better. Still don't like her out there all by herself.

St. Patrick's Day 2011

So, these are the only pictures I happened to take of the annual Kelley St. Patrick's Day dinner. Every year we have the corned beef, potatoes, cabbage, and Irish Soda bread. It was a good time! I was trying to get Chase to smile for me but, he was onto me.....and well aware of the camera in my hand! haha!! Still got some cute shots of him though!!




Oh Cullen, you're too cute for your own good! He talks all the time and on this night I caught him talking to the wall in the stairwell. I just wish we could understand him because I'm sure he is saying cute and clever things! His words are getting more and more plentiful though. LOVE it!!!

My 32nd Birthday

For my birthday this year we decided to drive down to the Lake of the Ozarks and stay at the Tan-Tar-A resort at Osage Beach. We had such a good time!! I got to hear my brother's radio show and he mentioned my birthday! Then we went out to lunch with him and his girlfriend (Joyce), her girls (Lexie and Kailey), Nicci and Nathan drove over from Jefferson City and of course they brought Alina, and Willie was there too! We walked around on the strip for awhile and ate lots of yummy food!

While we were there,we realized just how cool the resort was and decided that the kids would love it there. So we decided to book our summer vacation there. I love to celebrate the Fourth of July so we figured that would be the perfect time to go.

WE both did this a lot the whole time we were gone! ha! We had just gotten new phones that day. Jeremy had the htc Desire and I had the htc Acclaim. I thought the Acclaim was awful to use. It was just a loaner until I got my Desire on Monday because I don't think I could keep the Acclaim. anyway, so we were both trying to figure out our new phones.

Having a Girl Is So Much Fun!

I have so much fun dressing Eden up! I love to accessorize with what I call "head gear". Any hats, ribbons, bows, headbands, beanies, etc. that someone wears on their head. A good piece of head gear is the perfect final touch to ANY outfit! haha!

Yes, I am the genius that put her bow on upside down on the headband. I'm kinda hoping that no one would notice that it is upside down but, now that I've wrote about it, everyone will for sure notice. So, just know that I noticed too! LOL!

She is getting around like crazy. Not full on crawling but, I think she may be gearing up for it!

Eden got her first tooth!! It was on St. Patrick's Day at the Kelley Family St. Patrick's Day Meal! Trisha was holding her and Eden started to gnaw on Trisha's finger and she felt the tooth! haha! Yay, Eden!

It's Making Us Sick To Our Stomachs....Literally

I've mentioned the movie Food, Inc. on here before.  Honestly you NEED to watch it.  It will blow your mind.  Again today in the news is another salmonella outbreak in the Skippy brand peanut butter.  What is it going to take to stop all this.....do we need to have hundreds, thousands....millions of people die????

Try, Try Again

I can't sleep. I've been up since about 3:30am. I have guilt over the whole breast milk/bottle thing.  I don't think I tried hard enough.  I took the easy way out.  After the boys get off to school I'm gonna start pumping ever hour and half.  I must bring the milk back or I'm gonna have this feeling for the rest of my life. 
Bring back the milk battle plan 2.0!

Asher is Awesome!

One of the greatest things ever and I keep forgetting to mention is something Asher says.  He calls the three older boys "the brothers".  Not "my brothers" but "the brothers".  It's so cute.  He only has half day school so he will start to wonder later in the afternoon where "the brothers" are or want to play with "the brothers."  I love it and hope he never stops saying it!  

Like Bowling For Water

 The cute Kelley girls.....although I was feeling ill and looked like poo.  Trisha and Vaness looked pretty though!

We went bowling on Valentine's Weekend with Tyson& Vanessa and Josh & Trisha.  Now, I am not normally a fan of bowling but the company was good and I wanted to do something!  haha!  It's always fun for us all to get together!  As you can see by the score board pictures I had a whopping score of 30.  Yes 30.  Don't get jealous!   You too can have a score of 30 without really trying to hard.  Although we played another game before this one and I got 63 that time, so yeah.

Eden Being Cute

 Eden is sitting up pretty good by herself these days.  I was kinda holding her with my feet in these pictures because I was trying to keep her from tipping......she was like a weeble that day! ha!  Anyway, that is the onesie and socks that Jeremy brought home from the Cubs games last summer when Eden was still in my tummy.  She has only worn it twice and it's getting too small.....awwww. 

Eden passed out playing with her favorite doll the other day.  She looked so cute, I needed a few pictures.  She's so much fun!  I love her!  Every day I am still in complete awe that I have a little girl.  She's a dream come true and my life is complete with her in it.

Day #1--List 10 interesting facts about yourself

1. I think I know everything.....and I usually do! haha!
2. I LOVE amusement parks, they really do amuse me!  They are the best!  Roller Coasters make me happy!
3. I can't stay in one place too long.  I really must go. 
4. I am mean.  And don't get into an argument with me because I WILL do whatever it takes to win that argument.....refer to interesting fact #1!  Bahahahaha!
5. I love staying in hotels and hospitals.  I really could live in a hotel and not mind one little bit...well a good hotel, I mean.  I won't stay just anywhere.
6. I am very easy going....as long as you agree with me! LOL! 
7. I am making myself sound like one crazy monster lady with these "facts"!
8. I LOVE having a lot of kids and being a real mother to them.  Really proud of my stay at home mom status!  (thank you Jeremy!)
9. I love trying new food and critiquing them....pretty sure i should be a food critic.  Again....refer to #1.
10. When I was 18 months old my dad accidentally ran over my head with the car.  No joke.  I should have died but that is a story for another day.

So that was fun....kinda.  Yesterday was awesome.  Today is not quite as awesome.  I have food on the brain because I ate salad today for lunch....and it was AWESOME!  Anyway, two nights ago I made a tuna noodle casserole for supper.  Now, I make supper every single night for the whole family and we always sit down to eat together.  The whole nine yards.  Anyway, Tristan has been doing this dissecting thing lately where he asks every single ingredient in whatever I have made and then proceeds to tell me how awful it is.  Even if it's something he has never tried.  Just irritates me to no end.  I have never been one to cater to the lameness of a child's palette so Tristan didn't have that on his side anyway.  We make our kids eat whatever I have made or they can go hungry.  I also never force them to eat anything....that'll make a picky eater quicker than anything.  We offer food, it's up to them to eat it.  Only they can tell when and what their bodies need.  But, he kept pushing it and pushing it.......when the rest of us were enjoying ourselves.....that I finally sent him to bed!  Cook your own dang food then dang it!!!! UGH!  But guess who was up bright and early the next morning cooking his own food?!?!?  HAHA! 

That leads to another pet peeve of mine.  Can't stand it when people make their kids take some many bites of something that they obviously don't want to eat.  Like they're gonna wither away in die in between meals.  Tell me that wouldn't make you never try you're veggies again if someone always forced you to eat it when you didn't want to!  Ahh, I digress.......

 Another subject....this fricking school!!!  There are good things about Carthage school......and there are bad things.  The bad are really outweighing the good as of late.  That is also for another post.

I need to do something great for my birthday.  I will be turning 32.  And my bday is on Saturday this year!!  Love weekend birthdays!! 

OH!  I saw our cat Luke the other day......the one that someone stole!  I tied to get him but wasn't quick enough.  now that I know he's around I'm going to keep an eye out and I'll get him next time.  I loved that cat.....come home, Luke!!  Unless some evil, sinister, crime lord is holding you hostage.  Then stay where you are. 

Well, this post is just chock full of randomness isn't it??? 
And don't ask why I use multiple punctuation marks all the time.  Because I just don't know.  To make my point extra clear maybe?  hmmmmm..........
