So having six kids is a lot of work!! Who knew?!?! haha! But, Eden is a great baby and makes things easier on me. Yesterday she went to her first checkup. She saw Dr. Sharp which is the same doc that saw her in the hospital. I like him so far and may switch to him for all family care. We are in Quincy way more anyhow. So, Eden's stats yesterday were:
8 pounds 9 ounces
20.75 inches
She's my lil miss these days. I like to call her Lil' Miss or Eden McFroo.
She's just so flippin cute! She has thrush. Which all of my babies get at least once. Fun stuff. I should be a baby doctor. I don't need them to tell me this stuff. I knew before I went that she had thrush and that he would give me nystatin to fix it.
I took Cullen with me and he just wasn't sure about anything. he made me carry him and the baby seat everywhere we went. Which made things awesome.
While I was in Quincy with those two boys, Jeremy was in Macomb with Liam taking him to the optometrist. Two days prior Liam had come downstairs crying and holding his eye. He WOULD NOT let us look at the eye for anything. So for a day and a half he layed around holding his eye and I thought he was faking. Finally we talked him into letting us look at it and there was a scratch on his eye. The eye doc said that Liam has a very high pain tolerance because most grown men rate that pain at an 8 out of 10!! He never even said that it hurt anymore....he just wouldn't let us look at it. He wasn't crying or anything either....after the initial injury that is. I felt so bad. Now he has to stay in a dark room and put antibiotic drops in his eye and wear sunglasses. Poor kid.
On other topics the Kelley fam is going Organic/Vegetarian. Yes, we are making a life change. I would strongly suggest to all of you that you watch the documentary Food INC.
Seriously made me never want to eat again. The things that we don't know that go on with our food is just revolting. So we have been buying organic everything. The meat is where the good majority of our problems lie.....have to find some meat that isn't corn fed and killed humanly and sanitarily.......k, for real, watch this movie. You can download it for free on netflix.
