K, did I seriously just tear up at the end of Home Alone? Who knew I would grow up to be such an emotional basketcase! I'm sure my boys think I'm nuts!
My kids think this movie is hilarious just as I did when I was younger. It's not quite so funny now...I keep thinking of all the terrible things that could've gone wrong with a child that age home alone. EEK!

you are not alone in that boat! john and i watched peter pan not to horribly long ago, and we were both just terrified for the little baby that was flying through the air! it was just sooooo not right.

My little brother watched this movie over and over when he first got here from Ukraine (he was 6 and learning English). He loved it. And one night at dinner quoted the movie (a not so nice quote) and we were all like, what the heck! Too funny!

Speaking of your little guys....we can't wait to see you guys next week for Thanksgiving! And, you gals are running a half marathon!!! Colista, I'm impressed you are running (what with just having your FIFTH child just weeks ago)! I think it's great that you guys can do it together...I think 5K Runs are my max right now though...how far is a half marathon? You are BRAVE!
