Something Good...Finally!!

I don't want to jinx it or anything but life is so good right now.  I know my last few posts have been all complaints but, it is what I do best.  I am going to make a concerted effort to change that attitude.  That's what this post is all about.  Many, many good things.  So, I will make a list of all the good things in my life because according to many websites about positive affirmations, it is better to write them down.  (type them down).

A LIST OF GOOD THINGS IN MY LIFE

*Yesterday my Mom was playing with Cullen.  She would pretend to throw his boom-boom and then hide it behind her back.  He was laughing the best belly laughs I've heard in a long time!  And he kept saying: "Again! Again!"  It really was special.

*We got to remodel our home.  Which I know I complained about in a previous post....but, I am truly GRATEFUL that we finally got to do it.  Our family time together has already improved even though we are not quite done.  I know there is still more that I would like to do to the house but I just need to be thankful for what I did get done.  Line upon line.  Precept upon precept.

*I need to sit back and realize just how good I have it.  I get to spend the majority of my time with my children and watch them grow up....something that many mothers don't get to do or choose not to do.  I get to have my husband home whenever I need him.  We can pick and choose our days off and how many or how little.
We are in control of our destiny!
We don't work for "the man"! LOL!  Sometimes being a business owner is annoying and hard but in the end, I think we have the best situation.  I work for Arbonne and have the same perks.  Flexible schedule, great company, fun job!

* Sometimes I sit and think that no one understands just how busy I am or just how hard I work to maintain this family.  It is a ton of work that most people don't think about in terms of even the little stuff.  What I need to be thinking is how blessed I have to have SIX perfect children.  How blessed I am that I have this BIG family to love and to receive their love in return!!!  I may be super busy and under a lot of stress with these kids but, I honestly wouldn't change it for the world!!  (Even if I say so when I am at my wits end! lol!)  I have been blessed abundantly in so many ways and I am learning so much from my family.

* I have pretty flowers in my yard!!!!  And a huge yard to play in to boot!!

* I have a knowledge of God, my Heavenly Father, who watches over me daily.  I honestly feel bad for people who do not know of God or how to pray to him.  They do not know what they are missing! :)

Well, there is my list for today.  Now to turn on some inspirational music and get the housework done!! Hopefully the rain will stay away and I can even play outside for a bit!! Speaking of outside, does anyone out there in blogger land know how to build a wooden swing set????  We are looking for an inexpensive one but, once we get it........it could be a comedy of errors with just Jeremy and I putting it together!! HAha!!!  Maybe the Amish guys that did our remodel would build us one.........

EVERYONE HAVE A SUPER DUPER DAY!!

We priced an Amish one and the dirt cheapest one was $1500! Wowzers! They are so much nicer than the others as with most of their stuff though.
