Eden Again....

Last week I got Eden's Pictures taken. This is one of the outfits that she wore. I can't wait to get the pics back! they are going to be cute for sure! Eden is growing by leaps and bounds! She likes to have us prop her up so she can look around and she's starting to grab at things! Especially my hair! Why can you never leave your hair down as a mom? Or wear jewelry?

I love this dress that Sarah gave her! Too bad it was to chilly without something underneath it! It's super cute either way though!

Fun With Asher And Cullen

One day near the beginning of October I picked Asher up from school (he's done at 10:45) and we went to McVeigh's Pumpkin Patch. side note: we will be going as a family on friday. Anyway, it was really nice out so we went there and got 9 mini pumpkins, two small and 1 good size one for carving and only spent $6!!! And Cullen and Asher each got a free halloween pail!

New Baby Boy!

Jeremy's sister, Trisha had her baby boy on October 9th at 4:25pm! They named him Chase Patrick Mitchell! He's just too cute! He weighed in at 8 pounds 4 ounces which is exactly what Eden weighed, and was 21 inches long. We were so excited for her and Josh! Now the craziness begins for them too! haha!

My Naughty Boy

Just a few more random pics of Cullen being naughty. One of his favorite past times is stealing popsicles from the freezer...then running outside to eat them secretly. He has started jabbering away pretty much all the time now. He repeats me all the time now so I have to watch what I say!

Cullen and The Candy Corn

Things got a little too quiet in the house one morning after the big boys had went to school. Cullen had stolen the bag of candy corn! Little stinker! I can't really blame him though, it is the best halloween candy there is.....the harvest mix actually...which is what this bag was before he got to it! The pumpkins are my fave and the Indian corn next...then candy corn. Remember those Mary Jane candies? Now those were awesome! Or the candy with the orange and black wrappers....what are those called?? hmmmm, I can't remember.

The Day of Today

Today I took Eden to a new patient appointment at the Dr. Sharp's even though I have been there twice already. Can't quite figure out why you need a separate appointment to establish care.
Anyway, Eden is growing like a weed! In three weeks she sure changed a lot.
Now she is 22 and 1/2 inches long and 12 pounds 7 ounces!


The kids only have a half day of school today so now they are all home. Tristan is painting machine gun masterpieces on the deck.
Cullen is keeping him company while playing on the deck, one of his favorite things to do.
Cedric is bonding with the new kitten the boys brought home this morning. Liam is currently mad and may have stomped off to his room...not entirely sure.
Asher was running around outside but he just barely came into the living room to watch tv. Eden is snoozing...wait here comes Liam....and he's wearing a helmet???!
He gives me a beautiful marigold! Awww...I guess he's not mad at me after all!
And oh crap, Cullen is on the table stealing/drinking someone's glass of milk!

Why do fitted sheets have to be absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to fold?!?!?!?! ARGH!

Rain Gutter Regata

Cedric built a nice ship that he named the Arizona.
He's kind of obsessed with Pearl Harbor right now.
Both he and Tristan won in their packs or dens or whatever they are called.

Tristan built a ship with multiple masts called the Quinncareem. He was naming his after an ancient Roman battle ram ship.
They both put a lot of work into their ships and all turned out well.

I caught his reaction when he won! He was really happy!

Family Fire!

The other night we had a bonfire for family night. We roasted marshmellows and enjoyed each other's company. Sometimes that is a hard thing to do. The boys had fun gathering the sticks and Liam kept saying "come on , let's work as a team!" It was so cute! I imagine as they get older these boys are gonna be a force to be reckoned with.
Things have been going reasonable well here at the Kelley house. I think we're finally getting into a new groove since school started and the baby was born. Now if someone could drop a pot of gold on our house we would be just right! haha!

My Mom Rocks!

Here are some random snapshots of Eden hanging out with Dad after a long day at work (Dad not Eden). She's a snuggler and loves to be held.

My Mom recovered the moses basket that she had made for me when Tristan was born. now it is pink and brown and girly! She did a fabulous job on it and I LOVE it!!!

The Eden Update

Yes, I am entirely aware that she is the cutest little girl in the whole wide world! :)

Okay, so Eden went to her one month doctor appointment on Sept. 28th and she weighed in at 9 pounds 4 ounces. Gained exactly one pound since birth. Not bad.

She's had thrush twice, since I have been on penicillin twice since her birth. Poor kid. Poor me.

We (I) love to dress her up! I really am so happy she came last instead of first....otherwise she would have NEVER been in pink, certainly never had bows in her hair, or headbands.....not at the baby stage anyway, maybe when she had hair to put them in. But, I'm gonna take advantage of dressing her how I want before she has any say in the matter! ha!

Sometimes we call her Froo Froo Magoo or just Froo. She's also been rather fussy as of late but, it's tolerable.....

Cullen Turns Two!

I can't believe that Cullen is two! I feel like I just had him.....maybe that's just because I had another baby but, I really feel like he's still very new. I was so worried to bring Cullen into the world....I thought he would have problems and that I wouldn't be able to care for him properly. (Due to the mass they saw on his brain in the ultrasound.) Thank the Lord that he is perfectly healthy and though I am far from being a perfect mother, I can care for him. Cullen makes everyone in the family smile and is such a good tempered little guy. I am so blessed. We all are. Cullen is a gift and we cherish him every day.

On Sept. 25th we had made plans to celebrate Cullen's birthday here at home. We were going to have a bonfire in the fire pit, play cornhole, just hang out. Well, it rained. And we had to stuff everyone in the house. It was crowded but we managed I guess. We had Grandma Trapp, Grandma and Grandpa Kelley, Aunt Trisha and Uncle Josh, Sarah and Matt, Jon and Nicky Cote and their fam, Jed Hill and his two girls......I think that's it. Am I missing anyone?? Anyway, Cullen had a good time. He enjoyed that cake that I made him even if I spent no time on it whatsoever. He liked his gifts....even if we had to convince him to open them....he never really did open them, we did. Hopefully next year the weather will be better.

The Difference Between Good and Bad

Oh how I have always loved Johnny Depp. I don't think there is a movie he has done that I have not liked. He transforms himself completely every single time....he just amazes me! This interview with Letterman is pretty funny I think. On another note, Jennifer Aniston can just go away now. I'm not sure why she is paid so highly as an actress. She plays every single character in every movie the exact same way. There is no depth there.
